Tulip Festival

These pictures were taken the first weekend in April 2001 at the Oregon Tulip festival. This is the start of the blooming season so all of the blooms were not in full swing yet and roughly two thirds of the fields were green. Still, there was plenty of color and variety to make for an interesting and fun trip. The tulip festival is held about six miles east of Woodburn, which is about 40 miles south of Portland. It will be open through April 22nd.
