Once again pictures fail to capture the power, sounds and majesty of
one of natures wonders. The day was a little overcast and it rained
on us before we were all the way back down. Our day started off with
a wonderful breakfast at the Lodge. Next we climbed to the top of the
falls taking pictures all the way up. The climb is a little over a
mile to gain over 620 feet (the height of Multnomah falls) and see the
stream that feeds the falls, as well as looking out over the edge. We
also visited Wakeena falls that day which is where the last two
pictures come from.
There is also a really nice lodge that servers a fabulous breakfast at the falls. I imagine their other meals are great too. Anyway, you might want to checkout Multnomah Falls Website if you are interested in visiting. Click on any thumbnail below for a bigger picture or use the Slide Show viewer. | |||||||
